Is the app free?+
Yes. Morse Field Signal is completely free — all features are included with no subscription or paywall.
What are optional tips?+
Tips in Settings → Support are voluntary consumable purchases that help fund development. They unlock nothing and can be purchased more than once. Payment is processed by Apple.
Why does the app ask for the microphone?+
The Listener tab records Morse clips from the microphone and decodes them on device. Saved recordings stay on your phone and are not uploaded.
Does the app work without internet?+
Yes. Encoding, decoding, signaling, and listening work offline. Internet is only needed when you choose to load tip products or complete an optional tip purchase through Apple.
I had a Pro subscription — what should I do?+
The app is now free for everyone. If you still have an active subscription, cancel it in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Morse Field Signal. Deleting the app does not cancel billing.
Is this app for emergency use?+
No. Morse Field Signal is for education and entertainment. Do not rely on it for emergency communications.
